Support Worker Driver

Support Worker Driver at Clubs @ Leslie Park
Part time, 15 hours a week
1 year fixed contract

We are looking for a brilliant new support worker driver to join our team of 7 staff at our newly refurbished Clubs @ Leslie Park centre.

  • We are 45 adults with a learning disability who come to Clubs @ Leslie Park every week to enjoy fun activities and be more independent
  • Every day the staff give us great support to engage in the different clubs and local activities we attend
  • We want you to enable us to be as independent as we can be using your experience and skills and, most of all, your passion
  • We have lots of new technology in our centre so we need someone who is good with computers who can help us learn how to get the most out of it
  • We also need someone who is comfortable driving a 9-seater people carrier to pick us up from home, take us to activities, and drop us back at the end of the day

Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator
Part time, 15 hours a week
Fixed term until end of March 2023

Croydon Mencap and Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA) work in partnership to deliver our exciting Volunteering Buddies Project. The project gives adults with a learning disability the opportunity to volunteer with a Buddy to support them.

Our volunteers are matched with a Buddy (mentor) who supports them to prepare for a volunteer role. The Buddy also offers hands on mentoring once they have started.

You will work closely with adults with a learning disability to get to know them and find out about their aspirations. You will establish the type of volunteer role they may enjoy and would be suited to.

You will also work alongside organisations to support them to be inclusive and supportive of our volunteers.
