Are you an adult with a learning disability living in Croydon?

Would you like to volunteer somewhere and would like some support?

Our Project can match you with a trained volunteer buddy.

You and your buddy will get to know each other, and they will support you in your chosen volunteering role.

Your buddy will have all the usual checks for volunteers or staff, they will have a DCS check, references, and they will do safeguarding training and other training.

You will get to know them at your own pace.

The project coordinator, Peter, will support you all the way through

To apply please fill out our application form

How will I get to know my buddy?

Our project started in the 1st lockdown, so our supported volunteers and their buddies got to know each other online on Zoom.

This year they have been able to start work on local outdoor projects.

Now they are starting to meet with Croydon Voluntary Action to look at volunteering positions around Croydon.

Contact Peter for more information

This is a joint project with Croydon Voluntary Action (CVA)

As well as helping our supported volunteers to find volunteer positions, CVA are also advertising for volunteers to become buddies.

If you know anyone that might be interested in becoming a buddy, please ask them to get in touch with CVA.
